Here you will find some of the books I have read/websites visited that you might find interesting. If you have any resources you would like to suggest, just let me know in the comments!

The Read Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease is a great read!! I had it for a couple of years and picked it up this past Spring and couldn't put it down! In The Read Aloud Handbook Jim Trelease talks about not just the practical reasons for reading aloud to children - whether your own or as a teacher to your students - but the studies and data backing up these reasons on every level from educational to social.

I love Instructor Magazine! There are always great ideas and interesting articles with every issue, not to mention some great giveaways and contests!!
